The Bio.
33/f/chi (formerly tx)
I grew up in the suburbs and was raised by the internet. As I was wrapping up school, I spent a few years volunteering for a now-long gone music festival: 35 Denton. This endeavor, plus too many nights spent sweaty at house shows and Rubber Gloves, led to me carving out a small part to play in the music scene. I picked up a camera and started photographing bands.
I stumbled into a job at Swash Labs — an early pioneer in social media marketing. I also stumbled (I’m very clumsy) into a lifelong friendship with someone who gave me a chance to cover music for D Magazine. This combo led to many exciting years of creativity, travel, and late nights.
In early 2019, I moved to Chicago, Illinois, because I felt like it.

Want to collab?
omg, same. Let’s do it! I love a fun idea — even if it’s destined to fail.
I reject the “hustle,” so if we’re a good fit, rest assured I am doing it because I want to.
